ALEXANDRA LENNOX - VOICE & MUSICAL THEATRE & FESTIVAL FOUNDERSoprano Alexandra Lennox has been performing with the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto for 26 seasons singing well over 175 productions in small roles, understudying larger roles and as a full time member of the professional Chorus. Alexandra has a Vocal Performance diploma from the Royal Conservatory of music Glen Gould School, a Vocal Performance BMus from the University of Toronto, and an ARCT in Voice from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Operatic roles include; "Adele" in Die Fledermaus with TOT and Mississauga Opera, "Serpina" in La Serva Padrona with Barrie Opera, "Musetta" in La Boheme with Co-Opera, "Nellie" in Leo the Royal Cadet With TOT, "The Voice" in Facing South with Tapestry, "Apparition" in Macbeth with COC, "Strawberry Seller" in Death in Venice with COC and "The Cousin" in Madama Butterfly with COC, and "soprano soloist" in The Nightingale with COC. Ms. Lennox has performed in musical theatre productions; as “Anne” in Anne of Green Gables, “ Hodel” in Fiddler on the Roof, “Liesl” in Sound of Music and many small and ensemble roles as both a singer, actor and a dancer. Alexandra is a busy and sought after festival adjudicator. She has judged voice and choral classes at Pickering GTA Music Festival, Kiwanis Festival of Sudbury, Kingston Kiwanis Festival, Peel Music Festival, Arcadia Academy of Music Musicfest and Miriam Academy of music’s Music Festival. Alexandra had been teaching a select group of students in her home studio “ Lennox Voice Studio" in Orangeville for the past 16 years and has now moved the studio to Georgetown, Ontario. Past students studied voice at UofT, University of Ottawa, University of London, England, Trinity College in BC, Sheridan College, Laurier Faculty of Music, University of Western Ontario, University of Guelph, The Randolph Academy and The New England Conservatory of Music.

JULIETTE JONES - POP & ORIGINAL MUSICJuliette Jones is an Ontario based Composer & Vocal Coach with a strong background in musical theatre and classical training. Graduating from Sheridan College in 2019 with an Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance, Juliette Jones went on to music direct, compose, and coach for multiple theatre companies across the GTA including Nightwood Theatre, The Musical Stage Co., YES Theatre, and more. Juliette was a vocal coach at Sheridan College and George Brown in 2020, and in 2021 wrote scores for several short films and podcasts including a documentary entitled Guardians by BFI Award Winning director Minerva Navasca. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Juliette found work as music assistant and lipsync supervisor on the Netflix Adaptation of 13: The Musical where she worked alongside 3-time Tony Award winning composer/lyricist Jason Robert Brown and Broadway music directors Georgia Stitt and Lily Ling. Since then, Juliette has provided additional orchestration and music editing on Playstation Exclusive Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores and was vocal coach on Disney's Descendants: The Rise of Red. Juliette continues her work as a AAA video game composer and Disney vocal coach on multiple unnamed projects at Interleave Creative.

SUSAN BLACK - PIANO
Susan Black is an accomplished collaborative pianist, mezzo-soprano, and opera coach based in the Toronto area. With over 20 years of experience, Susan has taught countless piano and music students while on faculty at York University as a piano instructor and collaborative pianist. Susan attended the University of Toronto where she obtained two Master’s Degrees - one in Voice Performance and another in Collaborative Piano - and has since returned to her alma mater as an instructor to train and embolden the next generation of aspiring opera singers from all over world. Ms. Black has been the accompanist and coach on over a dozen different operas and continues to play for auditions and rehearsals across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Susan, along with festival founder Alexandra Lennox and several other colleagues performed in the highly successful classical revue show Opera Under the Stars: Ensemble Classique. Susan’s expert skill as a pianist and highly trained musician transcends multiple genres, and has made her a sought after accompanist for not only operas and classical events, but also for musicals, festivals, churches, recording sessions, and even rock bands. For the past several years, Ms. Black has had the opportunity to adjudicate piano for festivals and audition juries in Southern Ontario, where she has taught numerous pianists of all ages and inspired them to continue on their musical journeys. Susan has been a member of the Canadian Opera Company chorus since 2001 after graduating from the Ensemble program and has performed in dozens of productions with the company. On top of her work across the GTA, Sue has performed throughout Canada and Europe as a soloist and as an accompanist in recitals, choral works and in opera productions. Susan remains dedicated to uplifting her community with the joy of music, and does so by working as the Music Director at Doon Presbyterian Church in Kitchener after moving on from long standing positions as Music Director at the Erindale Presbyterian Church in Mississauga and St. James Anglican Church in Cambridge, Ontario. |
KATHARINE KRUL - FOUNDERKatharine is a music enthusiast. She has been singing as a soloist and choral member in choirs her whole life: schools (Cawthra Park S.S. Regional Arts Program, McMaster University); churches (St. Paul’s United Church in Brampton, St. John’s United Church in Georgetown); and in the community (Georgetown Transfer, Cantando, Mass Church Choirs, Calgary MusicFest, Winnipeg MusicFest, Peel Music Festival). A highlight of her teen years was being taught by the now world-renowned Canadian Choral Composer Stephen Hatfield. After achieving her Bachelor of Commerce, Katharine worked with national and provincial non-profit associations for approximately 10 years honing her skills in meeting planning, multi-tasking and organization. In September 2012, she joined St. John's United Church as the Office Administrator. Katharine beautifies the worship services with liturgical dance, prayers and the occasional sermon. She effectively manages the church office, keeping everyone connected, while ensuring all details are handled with gentleness, care, spirit, and impeccability. She has over 25 years' office management experience and has been a Level Two Reiki Practitioner since the spring of 2012.
